Director of Pharmacy
Peter has worked in both hospital and retail pharmacies and has extensive experience as a clinical and administrative pharmacist. He is a direct contributor to the high quality delivery of pharmaceutical services at HealthSouth Austin. Peter graduated with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, and has a master’s degree in healthcare pharmacy administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Chief Nursing Officer
Bradley Dinsmore returns to HealthSouth after successful leadership in management roles in both the acute and sub-acute arenas. A Texas native he received an associate degree in nursing from Austin Community College and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Bradley later graduated with a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University. His strength in coordinating strong nursing care comes from the personal approach he has with nursing staff and patients.
Plant Operations Director
Ricky Nevels retired from the Air Force in 1996 and began working in hospitals in the Austin area shortly thereafter. He manages the facility operations that include the areas of the environment of care, plant operations / maintenance, dietary, purchasing and environmental services.
Director of Human Resources
Michael brings more than five years of human resource experience to HealthSouth. He values employees and is dedicated to providing them support and meeting their needs. Michael graduated in 2008 from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in communication studies. He is currently pursuing his PHR certification.
Director of Therapy Operations
Liz Warfield, director of therapy operations, has worked at HealthSouth Austin since 2009 as a speech therapist and team lead. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP). She holds additional certifications in Vital Stim and Lee Silverman’s Voice Treatment.
Director of Case Management
Maggie joined HealthSouth in January 2016 and has more than seven years experience in various hospital settings. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin. She thoroughly enjoys working in a dynamic interdisciplinary environment and watching patients succeed. She is passionate about using her case management experience to help others. She is currently in the process of obtaining her ACM certification.
